268 more test positive for Coronaivirus, 5 patients die in UT since last 24 hrs

Puducherry, Aug 8 (UNI) As many as 268 more persons tested positive for the Coronavirus taking the total number of active cases to 1953 while five patients died in the Union Territory during the last 24 hours.

According to the COVID 19 status released by the health department here on Saturday, 228 new cases were reported in Puducherry region, 38 in Karaikal and two in Yanam region.
