254 new Covid cases, one death, 233 recover in Manipur

Imphal, Sep 25 (UNI) Manipur today recorded 254 new Covid cases and a death of a woman. From various centres 233 persons were found negative.
In the past twenty-four hours, 196 persons (114M, 82F) from general population and 58 personnel from Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) were confirmed as new COVID19 positive cases.
The positive cases were from RIMS - 62; JNIMS - 50; imphal West - 63; Ukhrul — 2; Raj Medicity — 5; Thoubal- 6;Shija Hospital -7; Maipakpi Hospital — 1, Tengnoupal — 7; Churachandpur — 11; Imphal East —- 2; Tamenglong — 6; Bishnupur — 3; Kangpokpi — 2; Iboyaima Hospital — 1; CMC Koirengei — 1; Hillside Hospital — 1; Advance Hospital — 1; Babina Diagnostics — 11; Kakching — 12.

Bhubaneswar, May 6 (UNI) As many as 113 of the total 243 candidates, about 47 percent, who are in the fray in 28 Assembly seats in Odisha, going to polls on May 13 next, have criminal records against themselves, according to Odisha Election watch report prepared by Association for Democratic Reforms(ADR).
