Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Nov 2 2016 6:31PM 167 minor irrigation schemes to be completed by 2017: RajbalaRanchi, Nov 2 (UNI) Laying stress on completing qualitative and time-bound irrigation projects, Jharkhand Chief Secretary Rajbala Verma today said work should be done and monitored properly. Reviewing the functioning of the water resources department she said a detailed project report (DPR) should be prepared for the new schemes and agencies should be appointed for conducting the survey work. She asked to complete the DPR for all the projects by November and the tender process should commence by January next year. The Chief Secretary said all the ongoing schemes should be completed on a priority basis. She said plans to be undertaken for the next fiscal should be selected from now itself so that in the next financial year work could commence on those projects.
