154 deaths in UP due to rains and floods in July

Lucknow, Aug 2 (UNI) Death toll in the rain related incidents and floods have touched 154 during the last one month in Uttar Pradesh.
Though the weather office has predicted more rains in the state during the next 2 days in the entire state, the officials of the state relief and rehabilitation confirmed that 154 deaths have been reported so far from 72 districts between July 1 to August 1 due to rain related incidents in the state.
The highest death was reported from Saharanpur where 11 people had died while in Agra it was 8 and in Sonebhadra district it was seven. Around 1259 houses were also damaged in the rains in the state so far.
