11489 tests positive and 59 death reported due to corona virus infection in Bihar

Patna, Apr 22 (UNI) With detection of 11489 fresh positive cases during the past 24 hours in Bihar, the corona virus infection continue to increase unabated in the state where 59 people lost their lives and active cases increased to 69868 during the period .
According to health department sources Patna reported 2643 cases during the period followed by Gaya with 945, Muzaffarpur 602, Begusarai 530, Aurangabad 498, Saran 441, Bhagalpur 387, Purnia 354, West Champaran 348, Nalanda 309, Siwan 285, Saharsa 255, Munger 239, East Champaran 236, Supaul 216, Vaishali 197,
Khagaria 194, Gopalganj 187, Madhubani and Madhepura 179, Samastipur 177, Nawada 173, Arwal 166, Katihar 164, Bhojpur 161, Rohtas 155, Jehanabad 152, Sheikhpura 151, Araria 146, Buxar 128, Darbhanga 112, Jamui 108, Lakhisarai 104, Sitamarhi 93, Kishanganj 76, Banka 60, Sheohar 49 and Kaimur 47.
