114-year-old antique idols stolen from temple in Bihar

Hajipur, Oct 15 (UNI) Two antique idols of more than 114-year-old were stolen from a temple at Mataiyya village under Mahua police station area in Vaishali district late last night.
Police said here today that outlaws stole idols of Lord Ram and Lakshman from Ram-Janaki temple by scaling the wall of temple. Sources said that the temple priest Kedar Tiwari found the idols missing when he opened the gate of temple.
An FIR has been lodged against unknown criminals on the statement of temple priest.
