Meals for Rs 5 launches at Siddipet

Hyderabad, Oct 5 (UNI) As part of Hare Krishna Movement, Hyderabad Spiritual and Social service initiatives to the needy, Satya Gaura Dasa inaugurated the 'Bhojanamrita', meal to the poor at Rs 5, at Government Degree college junction in Siddipet on Friday.
Megha Engineering and Infrastructure limited (MEIL) is supporting for this program and through this programme would feed nutritious lunch to 500 needy people every single day henceforth, a statement said here.
"It is the desire of our Spiritual Master Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada,Founder Acharya of World Wide Hare Krishna Movement, that no one should go hungry within 10km radius of the temple.", Mr Dasa said.

Patna, Apr 26 (UNI) Scorching heat appears to have affected polling percentage during the second phase of Lok Sabha elections in five seats in Bihar, as only 58.58 percent of the electorate exercised their franchise compared to 62.92 percent in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, which is 4.34 percent less this year.
