'Success cannot be achieved in politics without people's support' : Rajini

Chennai, Oct 23 (UNI) Having confirmed his political entry ten
months back but was yet to formally float his own outfit, Tamil
Superstar Rajinikanth on Tuesday said 'success could not be
achieved in politics with just fan clubs and without the support
of the people'.
In a strongly-worded two page statement to his fans, he said “we
cannot get what we want in politics without the support of the
general public.”
'Anyone who thinks that he/she can achieve political success
without the support of general public is insane', he added.
Just being a member of his Rajini Makkal Mandram (RMM) for
30 to 40 years does not qualify to get posts or enter politics,
Rajinikanth said, adding, 'without people's support we cannot
achieve anything in politics'.
Sending a clear message to his fans and to discipline them, he
said all disciplinary actions, including removing of members
from Rajini Makkal Mandram (RMM), were taken only after getting his
stamp of approval.
