New Delhi, Oct 11 (UNI) Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar starrer 'PadMan', which emerged a box office success, will be screened at the Tokyo International Film Festival.

Producer of 'PadMan', Twinkle Khanna took to her Twitter handle and said,'Pad Man in Japanese-The film will be screened at the Tokyo International Film Festival!! #PADMAN #TIFFJP #@PadManTheFilm @murugaofficial @sonamakapoor @radhika_apte @akshaykumar @SonyPicsIndia #RBalki'.
The movie stars Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Radhika Apte in the lead roles.
'PadMan' released in February this year. The movie is based on the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham, who braved all odds to ensure his wife gets a healthy and long life, giving India its very own 'PadMan'.
The film is helmed by R Balki.
