'Kisan Long March' propelled by 'urban Maoists': Poonam Mahajan

Mumbai, Mar 12 (UNI) As thousands of farmers, carrying red flags, marched to Mumbai with a list of demands, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Poonam Mahajan claimed that the 'Kisan Long March' was propelled by 'urban Maoists'.
Speaking to media persons, Ms Mahajan alleged that Maoists were misguiding the farmers who had travelled 180 km on foot to Mumbai to press for their demands.
Over 30,000 farmers and tribals had marched from Nashik to Mumbai to draw the BJP government's attention towards their problems.

Puducherry, Feb 27 (UNI) As many as 20 more persons were tested positive for Coronavirus and one died since the last 24 hours, ending at 10 AM on Saturday, taking the tally of COVID infection cases to 39,717 and death toll to 668 in the Union Territory.
