‘Don’t drink and drive’ signages made compulsory in all bars in Goa

Panaji, Feb 12 (UNI) Excise Department in Goa on Tuesday instructed all licensed bars, liquor vendors and restaurents serving liqour to put up 'Don't drink and drive' signages.
"All taluka excise inspectors are hereby directed to inform all liquor licence holders within their jurisdiction to display ‘Don’t Drink and Drive’ board by fixing on the wall or should be painted on the wall of the licensed premises," the circular stated.
In the circular Assistant Commissioner of Excise Sataywan Bhivset has asked all the excise officials to submit comliance report of the order by March 1, 2019.
The decision was taken after a meeting on road safety on Tuesday.
