'Bihar Mahotsava' to be organised in Goa from Nov 22

Patna, Jul 19 (UNI) Bihar art, culture and youth department and Goa`s art and cultural
directorate will jointly organise three day ‘Bihar Mahotsava’ at Ponda in Goa from
November 22.
‘Bihar Mahotsava’ will showcase the state`s folk culture, music and dance, exhibiting
its rich cultural heritage. Several popular artists would participate in the event.
Art and Culture Minister Krishna Kumar Rishi said here today that Goa governor
Dr Mridula Sinha would inaugurate ‘Bihar Mahotsava’.
He said Bihar deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi and Goa art and culture
minister Govind Gavade will be chief guests on the occasion.
‘Bihar Mahotsava’ will be organised at the time when tourism season is in full swing
in Goa, the Minister stated adding that international film festival is also being organised
in the tiny state presently.
He said it would also help boost the image of Bihar among people from across the
globe.
