New Delhi, May 17 (UNI) Continuing its strong run at the box office, the Hindi version of ‘Baahubali 2-The Conclusion’ has reached close to the Rs 450 cr mark at the box office in India, trade sources said . The film, which released on April 28, continues to draw crowds in its third week, with its collections remaining steady. As per initial estimates, the film has collected around Rs 7.5 crore yesterday, taking its total box office earnings in India to Rs 447.50 crore. The film is this all set to cross the Rs 450 crore mark by today. The film has already crossed the Rs 900 crore mark (All Versions) at the domestic box office and is heading towards the Rs 1000 crore mark. The film, which released in 6,500 screens in India and 9,000 screens worldwide, has been creating new benchmarks ever since its release. A revenge drama, ‘Baahubali 2’ is the story about Mahendra Baahubali who takes on his uncle Bhallaladeva for plotting and killing his father Amarendra Baahubali, in a fight to rule their kingdom Mahishmati. The film stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj, Tamannah Bhatia and Nassar. Made on an expensive budget of Rs 250 crore, the film is creating and shattering new box office records each day. The film was scheduled to release in 2016, however, the makers moved the date and released the film in 2017.
