'Advantage Maharashtra Expo-2017' on Jan 5

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Jan 2 (UNI) A four-day mega event 'Advantage Maharashtra Expo-2017' will be inaugurated by state Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on January 5 at Kalagramm here. The event will be jointly organised by the Marathwada Association of Small Scale Industries and Agriculture (MASSIA) in association with Maharahstra Toursim Development Corporation (MTDC). Maharahstra State Assembly Speaker Haribhau Bagade will be the chief guest for the function while Aurangabad District Guardian Minister Ramdas Kadam, state industries minister Subhas Desai, state tourism minister Jaykumar Rawal, State Woman Commission Chairperson Vijaya Rahatkar, city mayor Bapu Gadamode, MPS Chandrakant Khaire and Mr Raosaheb Danve and all the MLAs and MLCs will be guest of honour. Aurangabad Industrial Suppliers Association (AISA), MSME, NSIC, AURIC, Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) and CMIA will be Co-organiser of the event, said MASSIA president Vijay Lekurwale here today in press conference at the event venue. 'The preparations have been completed and 310 stalls have been already booked by the small, big and medium companies across from the country as well as from abroad and we are expecting business around Rs 500-600 crore during the event. Different types of the agriculture, industrial, pharma products which were manufactured by various companies, latest machineries and its spares, automobiles spares will be showcased in the four-day mega event, he said and adding that exhibition will be held with an intention of providing business opportunities to the local small-scale industrialists. Three sessions of special seminars also organised during the event are' Engineering Excellence' , 'Agro and Food Processing Conference' and 'Energy conference ' and ‘Woman entrepreneurship conference' by the experts and personalities from the respective sectors and as well as from abroad, said Mr Lekurwale. PRO Arjun Gaike appealed to those who are working in small scale industries as workers and engineers that this was a golden chance to visit the exhibition and opt latest technologies which will be presented by various companies. The Valedictory function would be held on January 8 evening by State Fiancé minister Sudhir Mungattiwar while MLAs Atul Save and Prashant Bamb, ex-minister Rajendra Darda, MACCIA President Ram Bhogale, ex-Presindet MACCIA Mansingh Pawar will be guest of honour, Mr Gaike added.
