Israel confirms elimination of Hamas finance chief Md Abu Alwan in Khan Younis in precision targeting

Jerusalem, Sep 23 (UNI) Israel said on Wednesday that its military had killed Muhammad Abu Alwan, whom it identified as the head of Hamas' finance department, in a strike in Khan Younis in southern Gaza. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defence Minister Israel Katz said the operation targeted Hamas' financial network. In a joint statement on X, Netanyahu and Katz praised the IDF and the country's internal security agency -Shin Bet - for carrying out what they said was a "precise operation" and said Jerusalem would continue targeting the Islamic terror outfit's commanders, its sources of funding and its infrastructure.…
