MoD signs Rs 810.79-cr contract with BDL for 160 SAT-SAAW

Hyderabad, Sep 23 (UNI) The Ministry of Defence on Wednesday signed a contract with Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) for procurement of 160 Satellite Smart Anti-Airfield Weapons (SAT-SAAW) and associated equipment for the Indian Air Force (IAF) at a total cost of Rs 810.79 crore. The contract, signed in the presence of Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh in New Delhi, comes under the Buy (Indian-Indigenously Designed, Developed and Manufactured) category.
