Mamata demands arrest of CEC Gyanesh Kumar, fresh Bengal polls with old voter list

Kolkata, Sept 23 (UNI) Former West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee demanded the arrest of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, alleging that the Election Commission had worked in favour of the BJP. Her remarks came on Wednesday amid reports of differences within the three-member poll panel over several decisions concerning electoral rolls and the Special Intensive Revision (SIR).
