SC stays bail to Shiv Sena (Shinde) corporator in Dombivli hospital assault case

New Delhi /Mumbai, Sept 28 (UNI) The Supreme Court on Monday stayed the bail granted to Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) corporator Ramesh Mhatre in connection with the alleged assault in July on doctors, nurses and hospital staff at Shastri Nagar Hospital at Dombivli in Thane district, according to sources in the Maharashtra law department. A Bench comprising Justices Vikram Nath and Sandeep Mehta admitted the Maharashtra government's appeal against the Bombay High Court order of August 7, by which Mhatre had been granted bail, the sources said.
