Haryana BJP leader gets Rs 5-crore extortion threat from caller claiming Lawrence-Godara gang links

Chandigarh, Sep 28 (UNI) A Haryana BJP state executive member and former panchayat samiti chairman had received an alleged Rs 5-crore extortion demand from a caller claiming links to the Lawrence Bishnoi and Rohit Godara gangs, he said on Monday, after lodging a complaint with the police. Zahid Hussain, a resident of Nuh district, said he received two threatening telephone calls on Sunday night in which the caller demanded the money within two days and threatened to kill him and his family if he failed to pay.
