TTD allocates Rs 1.50-cr for renovation of 200-year-old Pushkarini at Tarigonda Temple

Tarigonda (Annamayya district), Sep 28 (UNI) Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has allocated Rs 1.50 crore for renovating the nearly 200-year-old Pushkarini at the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Tarigonda, with TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu laying the foundation stone for the works on Monday. Naidu directed officials to complete the renovation within the stipulated time while maintaining quality standards to ensure better facilities for devotees visiting the historic temple. Speaking on the occasion, he noted that Tarigonda was the birthplace of Matru Sri Tarigonda Vengamamba and recalled that TTD had established an Annaprasadam distribution centre in Tirumala in her name.…
