India's biggest medal day yet: Athletics leads eight-medal haul

Aichi-Nagoya, Sept 28 (UNI) India produced its most prolific medal haul of the Asian Games on Monday, collecting eight medals - four silver and four bronze - as athletics led the charge with a javelin double, a 42-year-old national record and four more podium finishes. Yash Vir Singh and Rohit Yadav opened the athletics medal rush with silver and bronze respectively in the men's javelin.
