3.3 magnitude earthquake hits Nashik; Cracks reported in houses

Nashik, Sep 18 (UNI) A mild earthquake measuring 3.3 on the Richter scale struck Nashik district on Friday evening, triggering panic among residents and causing cracks in the walls of some houses. No casualties or injuries have been reported. According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the earthquake was recorded at 7:10:15 PM on Friday at a depth of approximately four kilometres. Tremors were felt in Nashik city and parts of Surgana taluka, particularly in Dangrale, Shinde and Rokadpada, along the Maharashtra-Gujarat border.
