Maha: Mumbai fuel dealers warn of shut down against UPI MDR from Oct 15

Mumbai, Sep 19 (UNI) The Petrol Dealers' Association, Mumbai, has written a letter to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) requesting a complete exemption for fuel retailers from the proposed UPI MDR charges, even as it also warned of not accepting UPI payments at fuel stations across the city from October 15, if MDR (Merchant Discount Rate) charges are imposed on UPI transactions above Rs 2,000.
