Govt medical colleges in Himachal to get specialised Centres of Excellence

Shimla, September 19 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh government has constituted an Expert Committee to examine a proposal for setting up Centres of Excellence in specialised departments of all Government Medical Colleges in the state, including Atal Institute of Medical Super Specialty (AIMSS), Chamiana. The committee has been constituted on the directives of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and has been tasked with identifying two to four departments in each medical college that have the potential to be developed as Centres of Excellence.
