Maha govt launches statewide drive for VJNT welfare citizens

Mumbai, Sep 21 (UNI) In a major governance push aimed at grassroots welfare, the Maharashtra government is launching a massive state-wide special campaign to ensure that citizens belonging to the Vimukta Jatis and Nomadic Tribes (VJNT) receive direct benefits of various welfare schemes and easily access essential government certificates. Initiated by Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule under the state's 'Rashtraneta te Rashtrapita' campaign, the three-day 'Bhatke-Vimukta Hakk va Pramanpatra Abhiyan' will be held from September 27-29.
