Tripura Govt allotted 30 acres of land for state of art Cricket academy

Agartala, Sept 21 (UNI) Tripura is in the process of significantly expanding its cricket infrastructure by earmarking 30 acres of land at Sekerkot, on the southern outskirts of the city, for the development of a state-of-the-art cricket academy. The infrastructure will offer Tripura a larger venue for competitive cricket and create additional opportunities for the state to host high-profile matches. The Chief Minister, Dr Manik Saha, while addressing the Annual Award Distribution Ceremony-2026 organised by the Tripura Cricket Association (TCA), stated that the initiative aims to strengthen player development in Tripura and potentially serve aspiring cricketers from across the Northeast.…
