RN Kao's story to be told in an upcoming film

Mumbai, Sep 21 (UNI) The life of Rameshwar Nath Kao, the founding chief of India's Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), is set to be brought to the big screen in a new feature film. The yet-untitled film is planned for release on August 11, 2028, coinciding with the 60th anniversary of RAW. The project will be based on author Nitin Gokhale's book "Gentleman Spymaster." The story will span the period from 1955 to 1971, depicting the need for RAW, its establishment, and the agency's initial missions during the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War.
