Tribal women to press for their rights tomorrow

Thane, Jan 25 (UNI) Thousands of tribal women from the four districts of Thane, Raigad, Palghar, and Nashik will march to the tehsil office and press for their rights on the Republic Day on Tuesday.
The women will point out to the tehsildars the provision of section 21 of the Constitution, which stresses on provision of the sanitation facilities to each of the household in the country, Aadrahdya Pandit, vice-president of the Shramajivi Sanghtana, an organisation working for the tribals in the state, told reporters on Monday.
The memorandum will stress on construction of public toilets at different distances and in public places, especially for the women.
