Sri Lanka name women's squad for Asian Games 2026

Colombo, Sep 16 (UNI) Sri Lanka have announced their 15-member squad for the women's cricket competition at the 2026 Asian Games, following their runners-up finish at the Women's Asia Cup. Captain Chamari Athapaththu leads the squad, which includes several players from the recent Asia Cup campaign as well as a couple of changes. Vishmi Gunarathne, who impressed with important contributions during the ICC Women's T20 World Cup and Asia Cup, is among the notable names missing from the squad.
