US House passes war powers resolution directing Trump to withdraw forces from Iran

Washington, Sep 16 (UNI) The US House of Representatives on Tuesday passed a war powers resolution directing President Donald Trump to remove American forces from hostilities with Iran, in the third such congressional effort to limit the administration's military action in the conflict. The measure, sponsored by Democratic Representative Seth Moulton, passed 220-204, with 213 Democrats and seven Republicans voting in favour. One independent voted against it. The resolution, H. Con.
