Squash: Abhay, Veer enter quarters as India enjoys strong day at Asian Games

Aichi-Nagoya, Sep 24 (UNI) India enjoyed a strong outing in squash at the Asian Games here on Thursday as Abhay Singh and Veer Chotrani advanced to the men's singles quarter-finals, while Anahat Singh and Tanvi Khanna also booked their places in the women's last eight. Second seed Abhay Singh produced another dominant performance, defeating Sri Lanka's Ravindu Laksiri 3-0 (11-3, 11-5, 11-6) in just 21 minutes. The Indian, ranked 26th in the world, will face Japan's top player Ryunosuke Tsukue in the quarter-finals.
