Deep Depression crosses coast close to Kalingapatnam in AP, Chennai, neighbouring dists to get rains till Sep 26

Chennai, Sep 24 (UNI) The Deep Depression over North Andhra Pradesh coast crossed the coast close to southwest of Kalingapatnam in Andhra Pradesh in the wee hours of Thursday, even as Chennai and its Northern and Interior districts and Western Ghat regions will continue to get rains for the next three days. In an update, Met office said rainfall occurred at isolated places over Tamil Nadu, while dry weather prevailed over Puducherry and Karaikal area.
