Farmers, experts to discuss scientific solutions to human-wildlife conflict at Thiruvambady conclave

Kozhikode, Sep 28 (UNI) Farmers, scientists, technology experts and policymakers will come together at a state-level conclave at Thiruvambady here on Tuesday to evolve scientific, practical and area-specific solutions to human-wildlife conflict, with the focus on protecting farmers and preventing wildlife attacks. The conclave, jointly organised by the Kerala Agriculture and Forest Departments, will assess the feasibility of using Artificial Intelligence (AI), drones, fencing technologies and other scientific interventions to reduce wildlife attacks and evolve action-oriented preventive strategies for different regions of Kerala.
