NE Monsoon to withdraw from Southern Peninsular India in two days

Chennai, Jan 15 (UNI) Met office on Thursday said the conditions are favourable for the cessation of Northeast Monsoon over southern peninsular India in the next two days. In an update, it said rainfall occurred at isolated places over Ghat areas of Tamil Nadu, while dry weather prevailed over rest of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal area.
