Kerala CM reiterates plan to relocate Thiruvananthapuram zoo

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 24 (UNI) Kerala Chief Minister V D Satheesan on Thursday reiterated his proposal to relocate the Thiruvananthapuram zoo and said the present site would be developed on the lines of Madison Square. Speaking at the inaugural function of the Kerala Travel Mart here, Satheesan said the zoo would be shifted and a new development modelled on Madison Square would come up at the existing site. Satheesan had earlier raised the proposal to relocate the zoo, which has since evoked both support and opposition.
