Rs10 parking dispute leads to Rs22 lakh penalty on hospital, contractor

Ashok Raina Kangra, Sep 24 (UNI) A Rs10 parking overcharge has culminated in a landmark consumer court verdict, with a total penalty of Rs22 lakh imposed on a government hospital administration, the Health Department and the parking contractor. The case was filed by a local lawyer after he was allegedly charged Rs10 above the prescribed parking fee while visiting the hospital.
