Bengal Transport Department to run special bus, tram and waterway services for Puja revellers

Kolkata, Sep 24 (UNI) The state Transport Department has decided to operate special services for Puja revellers during the festive season. According to state Transport Minister Arjun Singh, the special services will include Puja Parikrama from September 17 to 21. "The services would be operated using regular and AC buses, CNG/AC buses, trams and waterways to decongest the traffic load on city roads," the minister said. "The services would be run covering important and heritage Puja destinations across North and South Kolkata as well as beyond the city.
