Sandhu emphasizes on 100 per cent source segregation & ward-level processing for zero waste neighbourhoods

New Delhi, Sept 24 (UNI) In a bid to establish neighbourhoods in the national capital with a zero- waste approach, Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Sandhu on Thursday held detailed discussions on decentralised solid waste management with select experts from agencies concerned. The Lieutenant Governor emphasized on 100 per cent source segregation, ward-level processing, and strict compliance by bulk waste generators across the city, to ensure cleanliness. Addressing officials and experts, LG Sandhu said that a cleaner Delhi starts with everyone's efforts. "Segregate. Participate. Share. Inspire.
