'People have no faith': Keralam Home Minister Chennithala seeks resignation of Chief Election Commissioner

Kozhikode, Sep 29 (UNI) Keralam Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala on Tuesday demanded the immediate resignation of Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar. Speaking to reporters in Malappuram on Tuesday, Chennithala stated that the public has completely lost faith in the Election Commission of India (ECI), warning that conducting any future elections under the current panel would amount to a "fraud" on the democratic process.
