Odisha: 600 personnel deployed for railway restoration at landslide-hit Maligura

Bhubaneswar, Sep 29 (UNI) Heavy rains and landslides have damaged railway infrastructure at several locations in Odisha's Rayagada division, prompting East Coast Railway to launch round-the-clock restoration work, with more than 600 personnel deployed at the worst-hit Maligura site. ECoR General Manager Parameshwar Funkwal reviewed the restoration work at Maligura on September 28, one of the worst-affected locations on the Koraput-Jeypore section. He inspected the damaged stretches and reviewed measures being taken to restore train operations.
