Karnataka contractors set Nov deadline for clearance of Rs 38,000 crore dues

Bengaluru, Sept 30 (UNI) The Karnataka State Contractors' Association on Wednesday set a November deadline for the State government to clear around Rs 38,000 crore in pending bills across eight departments, warning that it would release documents relating to alleged commission payments if the dues were not settled. Association president R Manjunath, addressing a press conference here, alleged that contractors' payments were being delayed while funds were being utilised to meet expenditure on the Congress government's guarantee schemes.
