Pondy CM Rangasamy inaugurates 3-day National conclave on Advanced Genomic Diagnostics for TB at JIPMER

Puducherry, Sep 24 (UNI) Puducherry Chief Minister N.Rangasamy on Thursday inaugurated a three-day National Conclave on Advanced Genomic Diagnostics for Tuberculosis and Policy Dialogue on Universal Drug Susceptibility Testing (UDST) using Targeted Next-Generation Sequencing (TNGS) for Tuberculosis, organised by the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER). The three-day national programme brought together policymakers, public health experts, clinicians, researchers, genomic scientists and other stakeholders to deliberate on strengthening drug-resistance detection and advancing genomic technologies for tuberculosis diagnosis and treatment.
