BJP celebrates Hyderabad Liberation Day at state office

Hyderabad, Sept 17 (UNI) Telangana BJP celebrated Hyderabad Liberation Day at its state office in Nampally on Thursday, with state BJP President N Ramchander Rao and union Minister G Kishan Reddy hoisting the national flag. Speaking on the occasion, Ramchander Rao described September 17 as a historic day for Telangana, recalling the integration of the erstwhile Hyderabad State with the Indian union following Operation Polo in 1948.
