Nina Sabnani traces journey of 'Animating Voices' at IDSFFK masterclass

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 28 (UNI) Veteran animator, artist and professor Nina Sabnani on Monday explored the role of memory, folk art traditions and community collaboration in animated documentaries during a masterclass titled "Animating Voices" at the 18th International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Keralam (IDSFFK). Sabnani traced her journey in animation, recalling her early work in 1984 using 35mm under-the-camera animation inspired by Madhubani paintings and her experience animating legendary artist K G Subramanyan's illustrated book The Thirsty Crow.
