Malappuram, Sep 28 (UNI) Kerala Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala on Monday said the support of mothers and sisters had emerged as a major strength in the fight against the drug menace and credited public participation with the success of Operation Thoofan. Inaugurating the second phase of the campaign, 'Thoofan Thaddesham', at Vengara here, Chennithala said the anti-drug campaign would now be expanded to every ward in the state with the active involvement of local self-government institutions and the people.
