Kannur airport to be developed as aviation hub: Kerala CM

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 28 (UNI) Kerala Chief Minister V D Satheesan on Monday announced that major development initiatives would be implemented at Kannur International Airport within a year as part of efforts to transform it into an aviation hub. Inaugurating the newly established International Air Cargo Complex and a four-MW solar power project at the airport, he said the State Government had taken important decisions to develop airports in Kerala, including Kannur, as aviation hubs contributing to the State's GDP.
