Financial constraints should not hinder students' education: Telangana Governor

Hyderabad, Sep 22 (UNI): Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla on Tuesday said financial constraints should not come in the way of students pursuing education and called for continued support to meritorious students from disadvantaged backgrounds. After distributing scholarship cheques totalling Rs 5 lakh to 28 underprivileged students at a programme organised by the Mahamana Malaviya Mission, under the Mahamana Shiksha Seva Prakalp at Lok Bhavan here, Shukla said Bharat Ratna Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya regarded education as a powerful instrument for nation-building, and his life demonstrated the importance of determination and perseverance in overcoming limitations.
