Anti-Narcotic Investigation Team formed as Operation Toofan enters second phase

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 18 (UNI) Kerala has constituted a specialised Anti-Narcotic Investigation Team to probe high-value drug trafficking cases with interstate and international links as part of the second phase of Operation Toofan, Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala said on Friday. The new team, which began functioning on September 18, will undertake focused and scientific investigations into major narcotics smuggling cases and trace the sources of drug supply networks, the Minister said at a press conference here.
