Modi govt transforming Anganwadis into centres for nutrition, health and education: Bandi Sanjay

Karimnagar, Oct 1 (UNI) union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar said the Narendra Modi-led government was transforming Anganwadis from mere nutrition centres into integrated facilities providing nutrition, healthcare, pre-school education and digital monitoring. Speaking at the 'Angan Milan Seva' programme organised by BJP Mahila Morcha at Teegalaguttapalli here on Thursday under the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan', Bandi Sanjay said over Rs 1.77 lakh crore had been spent during the past 12 years on Anganwadis and nutrition for children, pregnant women and lactating mothers.
