DM-SP keep close watch on Saran main embankment after seepage reported

Gopalganj, Oct 1 (UNI) District Magistrate Sameer Saurabh and Superintendent of Police Vinay Tiwari inspected the Saran main embankment at Gamahari in Baikunthpur block after reports of seepage at the flood-protection structure. Official sources said here on Thursday that the two senior officers reached the spot on motorcycles late last night and took stock of the situation. On their directions, administrative and technical teams, with the assistance of local residents, immediately carried out repair and protective work at the affected stretch.
